Q & A with Michelle Anderst
We got a chance to spend some time in Seattle with Michelle Anderst before her newest gallery show. Here are a few of the questions we had over a cup.

Admire Xchange: What are some things that insipire you?
Michelle Anderst: "Indoor landscapes, powerlines... things that showcase framework skeletons, abandoned structures that are stripped to frame. Trees without leaves. Reflections such as water, especially surfaces that can reflect and be seen through, transparent."
AX: What is your ideal day?
Michelle: "Coffee @ Cafe Vatrolla, a couple hours of painting, read a few articles in National Geographic, some computer time, more painting, good food all along the way, and then ending with time with my husband Johnny."
AX: Who are some artists that are currently inspirational to you?
Michelle: "Jenny Saville and Andrew Wyeth"
AX: If you had a chance to ask either of them anything, what would it be?
Michele: "I wouldn't want to ask them anything as much as I would just want to watch them work."
